"Krill" wurde inspiriert von "1000 Eichen weniger". Während wir an den Cyanotypien jener Serie gearbeitet haben, kamen wir auf den Gedanken, den Akt des Bäume ausreißens auch im Video festzuhalten. "Krill" zeigt darüberhinaus im Stil eines Nachrichtensenders einen roten Ticker am unteren Bildrand und eher idylische Bilder von Bäumen in einem Park. Der durchlaufene Text lamentiert über einen bevorstehenden Weltuntergang und greift dabei die Metapher von gestrandeten Walen auf. Bild und Text kollidieren manchmal, häufiger aber überkreuzen sie sich: große Eichen werden zu riesigen Meeressäugern, das Blau des Himmels wird das Blau des Meeres.

"Krill" was inspired by "1000 oaks less". While we were working on the cyanotypes of that series, we came across the idea of ​​capturing the act of tearing out the trees in a video. In addition to that "Krill" shows a red ticker at the bottom of the picture in the style of a news station and rather idyllic impressions of trees in a park. The text in the ticker laments about the impending end of the world and takes up the metaphor of stranded whales. While the image and text sometimes run against each other, more oftenly they cross: large oaks become giant marine mammals, the blue of the sky is the blue of the sea.
